📍 CONEM 2026 - São Luís, Brazil

[🇺🇸] Our research group participated in the National Congress of Mechanical Engineering (CONEM 2026), held in São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil, from August 10 to 14.

We presented some of our resent research on mechanical energy harvesting, origami structures and dynamical systems, providing an excellent opportunity to share our work, exchange ideas with researches from across Brazil, and strengthen connections with colleagues from the Northeast region.

CONEM is an event that I always make a point of attending whenever possible, and this edition was particularly special for the opportunity to combine scientific discussions with the rich culture and hospitality of Maranhão.

[🇧🇷] Nosso grupo de pesquisa participou do Congresso Nacional de Engenharia Mecânica (CONEM 2026), realizado em São Luís, Maranhão, entre os dias 10 e 14 de agosto.

Apresentamos alguns de nossos trabalhos recentes nas áreas de colheita de energia mecânica, estruturas de origami e sistemas dinâmicos, proporcionando uma excelente oportunidade para compartilhar nossos resultados, trocar ideias com pesquisadores de diferentes regiões do Brasil e fortalecer conexões com colegas da região Nordeste.

O CONEM é um evento do qual faço questão de participar sempre que possível, e esta edição foi particularmente especial pela oportunidade de unir as discussões científicas à rica cultura e hospitalidade do Maranhão.
